OBJECTIVES :
THE PRIME OBJECTIVE OF THE DEPARTMENT IS TO MAINTAIN EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH AND TEACHING AND PATIENT CARE
1) The goal of teaching orthopedics is to provide undergraduate students comprehensive knowledge of the causes and mechanisms of orthopedic disorders and trauma, in order to enable them to achieve complete understanding of causes and mechanisms of those conditions.
2) At the end, the students shall be able to integrate the causes and mechanisms of various fractures and disorders most prevalent in India with their natural history for the understanding of their clinical and course and management.
SALIENT FEATURES :
Department of orthopedic has yearly intake capacity of 5 M.S. Orthopedics seats. These seats are recognized by MCI.
Till to date we have admitted 21 students for M.S. Orthopedics, 12 students successfully passed M.S. Orthopedics in first attempt.Joint replacement surgeries
