OPD Section :

            Department of Dermatology is headed with senior, experienced teachers along with international and national level recognized faculty interested in research with lot of Publications at national and international levels with all qualities of leadership.
            Average daily OPD of Dermatology is 110-150 which is probably the highest in all the private colleges in Maharashtra and only behind GMC Nagpur in Vidarbha.

PG Activity held by department on weekly basis:

IPD Section

Presently we are working in ward 13 & ward 15 with adequate availability of beds , trained nursing staff, easily accessible instruments & facilities & regularly available stock of medicines in medicals.

Total of 30 beds are allotted to Dermatology with 15 beds each to male & female wards.

Use of Biologics and newer therapies for indoor patients.

In Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial medical College, Amravati, in Department of Dermatology we have got a broad range of facilities along with the proper infrastructure and expert professionals to perform all the procedures.

FACILITIES IN LASER CENTRE

ND – YAG LASER is used for :

DIODE LASER :
• For removal of excess, unwanted hair

EXCIMER LASER

For management of : Focal / segmental vitiligo, Localised psoriasis, Lichen planus, Alopecia areata.

Alongwith all these facilities recently, we have installed two new Lasers i.e. Intense Pulse Light (IPL) and Cryolipolysis.

Hair removal, Skin rejuvenation, Acne removal [Grade2], Pigment removal

CRYOLIPOLYSIS

For localised reduction of fat , (Abdomen /arms /thighs), 3-4 sessions are required at every 4-6 weeks.

PHOTOTHERAPY CHAMBER

For management of Vitiligo vulgaris, Chronic plaque psoriasis.
We perform the wide range of procedure which include invasive as well as non-invasive techniques. In this laser centre the facilities which are available include :
